They interview academics from many disciplines, who discuss their motivation to strive towards to a more equitable and sustainable world.
Episode One – Why Social Innovation?
“Why social innovation?” was the question Dr Stott and Professor Tracey posed to four alumni of the MSt in Social Innovation.
Throughout the episode our former students discuss what motivated them to apply for the programme, and how they hope it can help in their determination to find solutions to the world’s wicked problems.
We also learn what it takes to balance home and work to find space to study for a challenging Masters programme.
“I think what led me to that space of working around innovation was really just the idea that there have to be new ways of doing things that could solve what seem to be intractable challenges in the healthcare field”.
